Our History


A BRIEF OVERVIEW...


'AND UPON THIS ROCK I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH; AND THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL AGAINST IT' (MATTHEW 16:18).

Established in 1990, CPMI is a church that came together in response to God's call.

The vision is to prepare the heart of all persons to follow Christ and for each member to develop a deep and personal relationship, based on faith in God; come to, and remain 'Christ's People'. 

Today, by the grace and mercy of the Lord, CPMI blossoms into a thriving community church frequently welcoming new visitors. We have been able to touch numerous families and lives, many of whom now enjoy a committed & personal relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Following almost a decade at 230-234 Brixton Road, in November 2016 we moved into our new HQ at Parchmore Road, Thornton Heath. The building remains there and the church continues to thrive! Praise God. We look forward to welcoming all our new members and indeed joining and helping our new community along in their journey of faith.
